TTD launches Tirumala Vision 2047 to enhance temple town infrastructure

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) launched the ‘Tirumala Vision 2047’ initiative on December 19. This plan aims to integrate heritage conservation with modern urban planning to enhance the temple town's infrastructure and facilities for pilgrims. The project seeks to balance traditional aesthetics with modern functionality while preserving Tirumala's spiritual and cultural significance. TTD has invited proposals from experts in urban planning and architecture to develop a comprehensive strategy for the town's future. Agencies have three weeks to submit their proposals, focusing on creating a sustainable and globally recognized spiritual destination. The initiative aligns with the Andhra Pradesh government's broader vision for development.
