Tributes honor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao at 75th anniversary of Mana Desam

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu honored Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) at the diamond jubilee of his first film, "Mana Desam," marking 75 years since its release. Naidu praised NTR's significant impact on Telugu culture, cinema, and politics. NTR, born in 1923 in Nimmakuru, rose from humble beginnings to become a major film star and political leader. He founded the Telugu Desam Party in 1982 and became Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh within nine months, focusing on the rights of the underprivileged. Former Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu described NTR as a source of inspiration, highlighting his discipline and determination. The event was attended by family members, film personalities, and political figures, celebrating NTR's enduring legacy.
