Trespass closes Aylesbury store due to cost-cutting
A popular high street retailer with 300 branches will permanently close one of its stores within the next 24 hours. The clothing and shoe shop, Trespass, will shut its Aylesbury branch. The closure of the Aylesbury store follows a closing-down sale, indicating the imminent end of operations. This move is part of a cost-cutting strategy due to declining customer numbers, with several other store closures already occurring last year. This closure adds to a trend of high street businesses shutting down, including Dobbies garden center and Marshall Motor Group. Other retailers and banks are also downsizing or shifting their focus due to changing consumer habits.
