Trader Joe's and Publix top U.S. grocery store satisfaction survey

A new survey by the American Customer Satisfaction Index ranks Trader Joe’s and Publix as the top grocery stores in the U.S., both scoring 84 out of 100. Trader Joe’s returned to the top after being second last year, while Publix saw a slight decline. Sam’s Club and Wegmans follow closely, both scoring 83. Sam’s Club maintained its satisfaction rating, while Wegmans improved by one percent. H-E-B dropped to third place with a score of 80, down from first in 2024. Overall, customer satisfaction for supermarkets increased by 4 percent, reaching a score of 79. Other notable stores in the top ten include Aldi, ShopRite, and Target, reflecting diverse preferences among shoppers.
