Tourist accuses greeter of theft; she strips, proves innocence

In Praia do Forte, Brazil, a tourist accused a local "baiana de receptivo" (a costumed greeter) of stealing her wallet on March 28. The greeter, Jucione Manuele, says she was forced to strip to her underwear to prove she didn't have it. The tourist later found the wallet in a clothing store she had previously visited. She admitted to making a mistake but reportedly did not apologize to Manuele. Police are investigating the incident. A report has been filed against the 53-year-old tourist for alleged slander.
