Toronto FC signs 15-year-old Jamaican forward Jahmarie Nolan
Toronto FC has signed a promising young player, Jahmarie Nolan, to its reserve team. At just 15 years old, Nolan becomes the youngest athlete in the team's history to sign an MLS Next Pro contract. Nolan is a forward from Jamaica and has already made a name for himself at the youth international level. He scored three goals in three games for Jamaica during the CONCACAF U-17 Championship held in Guatemala last month. Toronto FC's technical director, Sean Rubio, expressed excitement about Nolan’s talent and experience. “Jahmarie is an exciting young talent that we’re thrilled to welcome to the club,” Rubio said. He emphasized the club's commitment to supporting Nolan and his family as he takes this significant step in his career. Before joining Toronto FC, Nolan showcased his skill at Mount Pleasant Football Academy in Jamaica. He made his professional debut at just 14 years old in the Jamaican Premier League. In the recent season, he scored one goal and provided two assists in 11 matches.
