Tom Ford has bought a mansion in Chelsea, London, for $104 million USD (£80 million GBP), making it the most expensive home sold in the UK this year. The deal closed this summer, with the previous owner purchasing it for $20 million USD (£16 million GBP) nearly 20 years ago. This purchase adds to Ford's extensive real estate portfolio, which includes properties in New York, Los Angeles, and other locations, valued at over $250 million USD (£191 million GBP). His net worth has increased to over $2 billion USD (£1.5 billion GBP) following the sale of his brand to Estée Lauder in 2022. Ford stepped down as creative director of his brand in April 2023 after 13 years. His final collection was for Fall 2023, and the brand is now led by Haider Ackermann.
