Three teenagers charged with murder in Melbourne stabbing
Three teenagers have been charged with murder after a stabbing incident in Melbourne's south-east last week. The fight occurred near Society Avenue in Lyndhurst around 8:30 PM on March 14. Timothy Leek, a 24-year-old man from Clyde, was found injured at the scene. Emergency services took him to the hospital, but he sadly died from his injuries. On Wednesday, police arrested an 18-year-old man from Seaford, another 18-year-old from Cranbourne North, and a 17-year-old boy. All three face charges of murder and armed robbery. The two men are due in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court, while the younger boy will appear in a children's court later. Previously, an 18-year-old from Narre Warren was also arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on July 28. Authorities believe those involved were familiar with each other. The investigation is still active, and police are asking anyone with information to reach out to Crime Stoppers.
