Three Gujarat cops killed in Haryana road accident
Three police officers from Gujarat were killed in a traffic accident early Wednesday in Sirsa district of Haryana. They were traveling with a Punjab Police assistant sub-inspector who was injured in the crash. The officers, identified as Sunil Kumar, Jayender Singh, and Prakash Bhat, worked at a police station in Ahmedabad. The accident happened around 5:30 AM when their vehicle, a Mahindra Bolero, hit a parked vehicle on the Dabwali-Chautala road. The Gujarat officers died at the scene. The injured Punjab ASI, JP Solanki, has been taken to a hospital in Bathinda for treatment. He was part of the team investigating a case in Punjab. Local police are looking into the accident. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to find out more about the parked vehicle. Authorities have also recovered a number plate from a truck with a Punjab registration and are working with Punjab Police to verify it.
