Three people died in a serious car accident in Phalodi, Rajasthan, on Tuesday night. The crash involved a speeding dumper that collided head-on with their car. The victims were returning home from AIIMS in Jodhpur. The accident happened around 10 PM near the village of Chaba. The car was severely damaged, making it difficult for the passengers to escape. Local villagers helped the police cut open the car to get them out and rush them to the hospital. The deceased included Ganesh Ram Choudhary, 32, and his wife Mamta, 29. Ganesh was a teacher who had recently started working at a school. Their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Manasvi, suffered injuries and is receiving treatment. Another victim, Ajay Kumar, 35, was a clerk at a government school. A friend of Ganesh, Girdhari Ram, 30, also sustained serious injuries and has been transferred to Jodhpur for further treatment. All passengers had traveled to Jodhpur for Manasvi’s heart condition. The police are currently searching for the dumper driver, who fled the scene after the collision.
