Thom Christopher, star of One Life to Live, dies at 84

Thom Christopher, known for his role as mob boss Carlo Hesser on the soap opera *One Life to Live*, has died at 84. His passing was confirmed by former co-star Anthony Crivello on December 5. Christopher won a Daytime Emmy in 1992 for his performance on *One Life to Live*. He also played Carlo's twin brother, Mortimer Bern, from 1996 to 2008. His career included roles in various TV shows since the 1950s. The cause of death has not been disclosed. Friends noted that Christopher had been ill for some time but remained engaged in conversations and storytelling until his passing.
