The Natural Disasters to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

WWE has announced that The Natural Disasters will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The announcement came on Monday. The Natural Disasters, made up of Earthquake and Typhoon, will be honored during WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas. The duo debuted in late 1990 and quickly became a powerful force in WWE's tag division. They faced many legendary teams, including Money Inc. and The Legion of Doom. The Natural Disasters even held the WWE Tag Team Titles and had a memorable connection with wrestling great Andre the Giant. Earthquake, whose real name was John Tenta, was known for his friendly nature backstage. Before wrestling, he was an athlete in football and wrestling at LSU and was a sumo champion in Japan. He had a notable rivalry with Hulk Hogan during WWE's peak years but sadly passed away in 2006. Typhoon, also known as Fred Ottman, found success in Championship Wrestling from Florida, where he won the heavyweight title. He is related to wrestling legends, as he is Dusty Rhodes’ former brother-in-law and the uncle of current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The announcement adds to an impressive list for 2025, which already includes figures like Lex Luger and Triple H.
