'The Chosen' becomes globally popular historical drama

The Chosen, a Christian historical drama about Jesus and his disciples, has become one of the most-watched TV series globally since its 2017 debut. It has over 770 million episode views and is available on major streaming platforms. Season five, titled The Chosen: Last Supper, will be released in theaters in three parts starting March 28. The new season will depict Jesus' welcome as king and the challenges he faces from political leaders. Additionally, a new faith-based series, House of David, premieres on Prime Video today. This series follows the story of King David and is produced by the Wonder Project, with Dallas Jenkins advising.
