This number breaks their previous record of 600,325 copies, set by the album "PHANTASY: Pt. 2 Sixth Sense" in 2023. "Unexpected" is now their fourth album to exceed half a million sales in the first week, joining earlier hits like "THRILL-ING," "PHANTASY: Pt. 2 Sixth Sense," and "TRIGGER."
