Texas A&M lands legacy WR Michael Brown from Houston
Texas A&M University has secured a commitment from four-star wide receiver Michael Brown. He is a legacy recruit, meaning his family has a strong connection to the school. Brown's father, Reggie Brown, played for the Aggies as a linebacker. Brown, ranked as the 35th best receiver nationally by Rivals, chose Texas A&M over several other strong programs, including Alabama and Arkansas. He expressed that his decision was influenced by his faith and a desire to follow a path that felt right to him. Having grown up around Texas A&M, Brown feels a deep connection to the university. He mentioned that the values and traditions of the school resonate with him. "Being an Aggie is a part of who I am," he said. Brown has visited the Texas A&M campus many times, and he sees a promising future for the football program. He believes he can make a significant impact while playing there. Coach Holmon Wiggins, who has closely studied Brown's skills, is expected to help him develop as a player. This month, Brown attended spring practice to continue building his relationship with the team. He plans to return for an official visit in June. Brown is looking forward to contributing to the Aggies' legacy and pursuing his football career there.
