Teven Jenkins joins Cleveland Browns after Bears exit

Teven Jenkins, a former guard for the Chicago Bears, has signed with the Cleveland Browns. This deal was announced on Thursday. Jenkins had a complicated time with the Bears, dealing with injuries and a position change from tackle to guard. The Bears recently acquired two new guards, Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, making Jenkins' return unlikely. In his four seasons with the Bears, Jenkins struggled with health issues. He missed 23 games due to injuries and played less than three-quarters of snaps in several others. Despite his talent, Jenkins started only 38 games in his career with the Bears. Reflecting on his time with the team, Jenkins expressed disappointment. He mentioned during a locker cleanout that he wished things had gone better. Jenkins wanted to secure his position but felt he did not do enough to eliminate doubts about his future with the team. He is now the last member of the Bears' 2021 draft class still looking for a place on the roster.
