Telfar opens first flagship store in Soho attracting hundreds of fans

Telfar opened its first physical store in Soho, New York, on Saturday, attracting around 300 fans who waited hours to enter. The store, located at 408 Broadway, features a unique layout with a bag bar and a news desk. Previously an online-only retailer, Telfar now offers customers the chance to buy items in person. The store showcases the brand's full range of products, including its popular bags, known as the "Bushwick Birkin." Designer Telfar Clemens emphasized that the flagship store represents a cultural phenomenon and a new chapter for the brand. Entry required an RSVP, marking a shift from past pop-up events that drew large crowds.
