Telangana minister calls for world-class infrastructure at Kaleshwaram pilgrimage site

Telangana's IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has called for the development of world-class infrastructure at Kaleshwaram to enhance its status as a major pilgrimage site. This includes upgrades to the Mukteshwara Temple and Pushkar Ghats along the Godavari River. A budget of ₹25 crore has been allocated for the Saraswati Antarvahini Pushkaralu festival, scheduled for May 15-26. Planned improvements include modern bathing ghats, better sanitation, road repairs, and an underground drainage system. The Minister also proposed creating helipads for easier access and forming a specialized team to manage festival arrangements. Collaboration among various government departments is encouraged to ensure successful project implementation.
