Telangana engineer amassed wealth beyond known income

An Anti-Corruption Bureau investigation has revealed a Telangana irrigation engineer, Nune Sridhar, allegedly amassed significant wealth far exceeding his known income, leading to a disproportionate assets case. Raids at 13 locations linked to Sridhar uncovered numerous luxury properties, including flats, a villa, and multiple buildings, along with land holdings and hotel stakes, raising questions about corruption. His son's lavish destination wedding in Thailand is also under scrutiny. The engineer's alleged wealth is connected to the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, which is already facing corruption allegations, and the collapse of the Medigadda Barrage, where officials face recommended criminal charges.
