A 16-year-old from Florida, Maykoll Santiesteban, has pleaded guilty to killing three women in a car crash during a joyride. He was driving 80 mph in a 30 mph zone when he crashed into a parked SUV. Santiesteban faces a prison sentence of 28 to 65 years. He was charged as an adult for three counts of vehicular homicide and driving without a license causing death. The crash occurred in Hialeah on April 23, 2024. Two women died at the scene, and a third woman later died from her injuries. Sentencing is scheduled for March 26.
