Nineteen-year-old Gursimran Kaur was found dead inside a walk-in oven at a Walmart in Halifax, Canada. Her mother discovered her body while searching for her after Gursimran's phone was off, which was unusual for her. Gursimran and her mother moved to Canada from the UK in 2021, seeking a better future. They both worked at Walmart, while her father and brother remain in India. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support her family. The local Sikh community is in shock and has offered support to Gursimran's family.
