Tayyab Ikram re-elected as International Hockey Federation president, praised by Mohsin Naqvi
Tayyab Ikram has been re-elected as President of the International Hockey Federation for an eight-year term, extending his leadership until 2035. His election was confirmed at the IHF Congress in Muscat, Oman, where he was the only candidate. Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, praised Ikram's re-election as a significant honor for Pakistan. Ikram previously served as acting president for two years after Narinder Batra's resignation. Ikram first became FIH President in 2022, winning against Belgium's Marc Coudron. His unchallenged re-election reflects his contributions to international hockey.
