Tainan promotes Beimen milkfish with seafood banquet

The Beimen District Office hosted the "Milkfish Beimen Banquet" in Tainan today, featuring a hundred tables of seafood dishes to promote the local milkfish industry. The event, combined with a temple celebration, drew large crowds and celebrated the region's culinary heritage. The banquet showcased eleven dishes centered around Beimen's milkfish and other fresh seafood, including cold seafood platters and various fish preparations. Forty tables were immediately sold out, with each table costing $4,000 and including a market voucher. The event also featured a market for local agricultural products, a live auction of seafood, and cultural performances. The event aimed to boost tourism and promote the unique flavors of Beimen's milkfish, known for its quality.
