Suzuki ends Jimny sales in Europe, future uncertain
The Suzuki Jimny is ending its run in Europe due to stricter emissions regulations, with a limited edition model released in France to mark the occasion. The Jimny 55ème anniversaire, a special edition of 55 units, is being sold in France, featuring unique design elements and 4x4 training for buyers, as a farewell to the current model. The Jimny was previously discontinued in Germany and the EU. The Jimny's future is also uncertain in Brazil, where it's known as the Jimny Sierra, due to similar emission standards. The brand will continue in Brazil with new models, while the Jimny Sierra will be available until the end of 2025.
