Suspects released on bail after questioning in 1994 murder of Nottinghamshire taxi driver
Five suspects arrested in connection with the 1994 murder of taxi driver Ethsham Ul-Haq Ghafoor have been released on bail. The suspects, four men and one woman, were taken into custody earlier this week in Nottingham. Ghafoor, known as Shami, was found shot dead in his taxi with his hands tied to the steering wheel. Police renewed their appeal for information last week, marking the 30th anniversary of the crime, and a £50,000 reward was offered. Authorities have received numerous tips since the appeal. Investigations are ongoing as police seek further information from the community regarding the case.
