Sunny skies return to Japan, with temperatures reaching 35°C in Kanto and western regions

Much of Japan will experience a return to hot and sunny weather, with temperatures around 35°C in the Kanto region and westward. Following recent heavy rains, many areas, particularly from Kanto to western Japan, are expected to reach or exceed 35°C. This sharp temperature increase, especially in Kanto, necessitates caution against heatstroke. Typhoon No. 15 has transitioned into an extratropical cyclone. While sunny conditions are forecast nationwide, coastal areas of Kanto should be aware of high waves.
