Streambox Media launches India's first subscription-based smart TV service Dor

Streambox Media has launched Dor, India's first subscription-based smart TV service, set to debut on Flipkart on December 1. Dor combines a 4K QLED TV with over 24 streaming apps and 300 live TV channels for a fixed monthly fee. Users can access Dor with an upfront fee starting at ₹9,999 for a 43-inch TV, plus a monthly subscription of ₹799. The service aims to simplify home entertainment by integrating multiple platforms into one interface, addressing affordability in India's underpenetrated connected TV market. Manufactured in India, Dor TVs feature 4K resolution and Dolby Audio. Streambox Media offers a four-year warranty and dedicated customer support to build consumer trust. The service will initially launch on Flipkart, with plans for expansion in 2025.
