Sporting's Debast set to start against Lens, Ba in line for minutes

Sporting coach Rui Borges is expected to make defensive changes for Wednesday's Champions League match against Lens, with Zeno Debast likely to start in place of Eduardo Quaresma. The decision aims to rotate players and manage fatigue. Debast is fresh after not playing for Belgium during the international break and serving a suspension, meaning he has not competed since September 19th. His long passing ability is seen as useful against Lens's high defensive block, which leaves space to exploit. Ibrahima Ba may also feature due to his physicality against Lens's strong forwards, though he is still regaining fitness after a knee operation. If not starting, he could earn minutes and make his Champions League debut.
