SpaceX launches Starlink mission, lands rocket at sea
SpaceX successfully launched its 250th dedicated Starlink mission, deploying 23 broadband satellites into low Earth orbit. This milestone further expands the company's growing satellite internet constellation. The Falcon 9 rocket, carrying the Starlink satellites, lifted off from Florida on Sunday night. The first stage of the rocket landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean, marking its 20th successful flight and landing. This launch, the 48th Falcon 9 flight of 2025, included 13 satellites with direct-to-cell capability. SpaceX's Starlink network now has over 7,200 operational satellites, providing internet access globally.
