This incident occurred after successfully deploying the Crew Dragon spacecraft with two astronauts. The upper stage was supposed to land in a specific area of the South Pacific but ended up outside the targeted zone. SpaceX stated they will resume launches once they understand the cause of the issue. This marks the third malfunction for the Falcon 9 in three months, following a previous failure in July that stranded a batch of satellites. Engineers are still examining the recent problem, which also involved the rocket's second engine burn.
