Sona protests FEFSI over withheld film footage issue
Actress Sona is in the news for protesting outside the FEFSI office. She is unhappy because a man is holding back the footage of her film, Smoke. Despite her efforts to get the hard disk with the footage, she says no action has been taken. In a recent interview, Sona shared her frustration. She has been part of the film industry for 25 years and has worked in different roles. However, she mentioned facing obstacles over the past decade that have made her work difficult. Sona recalled a time when she spoke up about poor treatment in the industry. She felt ignored and decided to reduce her involvement. More recently, she took a chance and directed a film, securing an online streaming deal. However, issues have arisen since the film's launch. She mentioned receiving threats after she filed her complaint. Sona said a manager had previously cheated her, which halted her film's production. She tried to move forward independently but still faced setbacks. She asserts that she will continue to protest at FEFSI until she receives justice.
