SMS Hospital in Jaipur installs ACs for cooling
SMS Hospital in Jaipur is preparing for the summer heat by buying new air conditioners. The current air cooling ducting system is old and not working well. Most of the new AC units have been installed, but some still need special wiring before they can be used. Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, the principal of SMS Medical College, stated that the hospital will not rely only on the new ACs. He assured that repairs to the ducting system are underway and should be finished in about 15 days. Some repairs have already been completed. Last summer, the hospital faced problems when the air cooling system broke down. To avoid similar issues this year, the staff have started preparing earlier. Dr. Maheshwari mentioned that they have serviced all coolers and are replacing ducting where needed. In total, SMS Hospital has installed 100 new air conditioners. However, about 25 units remain uninstalled, which will be set up as needed.
