Smoke shop in New Bedford catches fire, no injuries

A smoke shop in New Bedford, Massachusetts, caught fire early Wednesday morning. A passerby noticed smoke coming from New Bedford Vape & Smoke around 2:20 a.m. and reported it to the fire department. Firefighters arrived quickly and found heavy smoke in the store. They entered the shop and managed to control the fire, preventing it from spreading to other businesses. However, smoke damage affected nearby storefronts, which needed ventilation. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The fire department confirmed that the cause of the fire was accidental.
