Six staff injured in Delhi restaurant fire

A fire at Bikkgane Biryani restaurant in Connaught Place, New Delhi, injured six staff members on Thursday morning. The blaze was caused by a leak in an LPG cylinder while the staff were preparing the restaurant for opening. Fire officials received the call at 11:55 AM and dispatched six fire tenders. The fire was contained to the kitchen area, but three victims suffered severe burns covering over 70% of their bodies. The injured were taken to RML Hospital and later transferred to other facilities. All are reported stable, but three require surgery. The restaurant remains closed, with management unavailable for comment.
