Six Flags Great Adventure announces 2025 opening day and new attractions

Six Flags Great Adventure will open on March 29, 2025, marking the start of the season. This year, the park will introduce a new coaster, The Flash: Vertical Velocity, amid the closure of several rides, including Kingda Ka and Green Lantern. Other key dates include the opening of Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa on April 12 and Hurricane Harbor on May 17. Special events are scheduled throughout the season, including Spring Break Days from April 12 to 20 and Fright Fest from September 12 to November 2. The park president expressed eagerness to welcome visitors for a memorable experience. The announcement comes as the park prepares for a new season following the retirement of some popular attractions.
