Singaporean chef Rose Ang opens her first restaurant

Singaporean chef Rose Ang has opened her first restaurant, Domo, after a career being headhunted by global conglomerates since 1998. Ang, 51, has worked in prestigious locations like Georgia, Azerbaijan, and St Moritz, including as executive chef of Nobu and F&B manager for Nobu Matsuhisa's European group. She overcame gender barriers in the kitchen through extensive unpaid work. Ang's dedication included working extra hours to learn various kitchen roles, eventually gaining access to exclusive recipes. She graduated from Queenstown Secondary School.
