Schedule changes disrupted BBC Breakfast for two days

BBC Breakfast viewers experienced a second day of schedule disruptions, forcing them to switch channels mid-broadcast. The changes were due to live coverage of the London Marathon and the Pope's funeral. The morning show moved to BBC Two after one hour to accommodate the London Marathon coverage, which began at 8:30 AM. This follows similar changes on Saturday for the Pope's funeral, impacting the usual broadcast schedule. The London Marathon, featuring 50,000 participants, also caused Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg to be moved to BBC Two. The BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One and iPlayer from 6 AM.
