Sara Duterte seeks to delay father's ICC appearance

Vice President Sara Duterte announced a request to delay her father's first appearance at the International Criminal Court, where he faces crimes against humanity charges. She stated the need for more time to discuss legal strategies with him. Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque revealed the legal team for Rodrigo Duterte, which includes himself and former Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. They are preparing to represent him in the ICC proceedings. Currently, only Medialdea is officially recognized as part of the legal team. Roque mentioned that they have submitted documents to include him as well.
