Sara Duterte seeks access to Rodrigo Duterte in The Hague

Vice President Sara Duterte is traveling to The Hague to meet with lawyers and seek access to her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte. He was recently arrested by the International Criminal Court for alleged crimes against humanity related to his anti-drug policies. Sara Duterte departed from the Philippines on Wednesday morning and is expected to arrive in The Hague soon. Former President Duterte arrived in The Hague earlier on a chartered flight after his arrest on March 7. The ICC has confirmed that it has taken custody of Rodrigo Duterte, who faces serious allegations stemming from his controversial drug war, which reportedly resulted in thousands of deaths.
