Sangley Airport in Cavite suspends operations after Navy helicopter crash

Operations at Sangley Airport in Cavite City were suspended on Thursday morning after a Philippine Navy helicopter crashed on the runway. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced the suspension at 10:18 AM. The Navy reported that the helicopter was involved in an incident during a training flight. Emergency teams were deployed, and while there were minor injuries, all personnel onboard were conscious and taken to a hospital for evaluation. The airport will remain closed until further notice as authorities manage the situation.
