Sanford man charged with 2022 murder of Isaiah Diaz
A man named Thallas Inman, 23, has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Isaiah Diaz. Inman was already in custody for another killing when authorities announced this new charge. Diaz was shot in November 2022, while two others in his car survived. The Sanford Police described Diaz's murder as a "cold and calculated assault." The attack involved shooters wearing masks and carrying guns. Details about how Inman was identified as one of the shooters remain unclear, and the investigation is still ongoing. Inman is also awaiting trial for the January 2023 murder of Princess Tolliver. In February 2024, he was among 12 people arrested in a drive-by shooting linked to a feud between two local rappers. Despite this, law enforcement has stated that the rappers were not directly involved in that incident. Inman now faces multiple charges, including murder and attempted murder. He is set to be arraigned on April 29 for the murder of Isaiah Diaz, while authorities aim to bring justice for his family.
