A recent study by BoyleSports ranked Aer Lingus as having the worst inflight meals among UK and international airlines. The analysis, based on thousands of traveler reviews, found 3.31% of Aer Lingus reviews included negative comments about food. In contrast, Ryanair received a relatively low percentage of negative food reviews, despite its reputation for cost-cutting. It ranked better than Aer Lingus, which was followed by Etihad Airways with 3.02% of poor food reviews. American Airlines had the highest number of negative food reviews overall, but this represented only 1% of its total reviews. The study included 20 airlines, highlighting significant dissatisfaction with inflight meals among some carriers.
