Russia's global economic share increased to 3.54%

Russia's share of the global economy reached its highest point since 2021, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It now stands at 3.54 percent. The increase follows Russia's GDP rising to $6.94 trillion in 2024, calculated by purchasing power parity. This is up from $6.48 trillion in 2023, representing a 0.05 percentage point increase in its global economic share. China leads with 19.45 percent, followed by the US and India. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted record economic growth, with the nominal GDP reaching 200 trillion rubles.
