Rory McIlroy earns over $100 million on PGA Tour

Rory McIlroy has become only the second golfer in history to earn over $100 million on the PGA Tour. He reached this milestone after finishing tied for fifth at the Houston Open, bringing his total earnings to $100,046,906. Since turning professional in 2010, McIlroy has won 28 PGA Tour tournaments. He recently captured the 2025 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Tiger Woods was the first golfer to hit the $100 million mark in 2012 and currently has $120,999,166. Phil Mickelson follows McIlroy with $96,685,635 in earnings. LIV Golf member Dustin Johnson ranks fourth with $75,557,026. Scottie Scheffler, who has had back-to-back successful seasons, rounds out the top five with $75,134,784. McIlroy will compete in the Masters at Augusta National from April 10-13. He aims to become only the sixth golfer to win all four major championships. The Northern Irishman mentioned that he is dealing with an elbow injury and will seek treatment before the tournament.
