Robert Eggers receives four Oscar nominations for 'Nosferatu'

Filmmaker Robert Eggers, from New Hampshire, has received four Oscar nominations for his 2024 film "Nosferatu." The nominations include best cinematography, production design, costume design, and makeup and hairstyling. Eggers has long been inspired by the original 1922 silent film "Nosferatu." He began working on his version of the story about ten years ago, after directing a high school production that shaped his career. Despite facing early setbacks, Eggers remained determined. His first film was made possible by an editor who shared his script with producers before he felt it was ready.
