Rescuers saved injured climber from Lavreotiki chasm

A 32-year-old climber was rescued after falling into a 55-meter-deep chasm in Lavreotiki, Greece, on Saturday. The climber fell while attempting to scale the "Chaos" crater near Kamariza, sustaining injuries that left him stranded mid-descent. Firefighters and the Special Disaster Unit (EMAK) responded, conducting a dramatic rescue operation. The rescue involved specialized equipment to reach and extract the injured climber, who was then transported to a hospital. A video of the rescue was released by the Fire Department.
