Ten fishermen, missing since June 1st, were rescued alive today after their vessel, the Ethel Mercedes IV, was found adrift off the coast of Pisco. The fishermen, from Santa Rosa and San Jose, were located 50 miles from the coast. They had lost contact due to technical issues. Naval and aerial resources were deployed immediately after the alert was raised. The Ministry of Defense confirmed the rescue, highlighting the rapid response. The fishermen are en route to Pisco for evaluation before reuniting with their families from the Lambayeque region.
