Renault will stop making the Scenic in France

The Renault Scenic, after 30 years of production in France, will move its production to Spain in 2028. This shift coincides with the launch of the new generation of the family SUV. The Douai factory in France will cease Scenic production, while the Palencia plant in Spain will take over, alongside the Espace, Austral, and Rafale models. The new Scenic will utilize a new C-EV platform. This move is influenced by Spain's subsidies for electric vehicle production and lower labor costs. The Douai factory will likely produce other models, including the Alpine A390 and the Nissan Micra.
