Reliance Power shares rose 9.34% in trading
Shares of Reliance Power increased by 9.34% to Rs 40.73 in trading on the NSE. This surge occurred with over 5.63 million shares traded, totaling around Rs 223 crore. Meanwhile, shares of Zomato fell by 2.48% to Rs 204.61, with around 5.45 million shares exchanged, worth Rs 1,112 crore. Vodafone Idea, Zomato, YES Bank, JP Power, NCC, Suzlon Energy, and Ola Electric Mobility were all among the stocks that experienced high trading volumes. Vodafone Idea's shares decreased by 1.82% to Rs 7.02, with 18.61 million shares traded at a value of Rs 131 crore. Despite the drop in Zomato's shares, ICICI Securities recommended a 'Buy' rating with a target price of Rs 310, while BoFA Securities downgraded the rating to 'Neutral' and set a lower target price of Rs 250. YES Bank's shares rose by 0.47% to Rs 17.11 with around 3.86 million shares traded. JP Power and NCC also saw significant trading volumes, with over 3.59 million and 3.38 million shares changing hands, respectively. Mazagon Dock led the turnover with about Rs 900 crore, followed by HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, NCC, ICICI Bank, and Siemens, which all had turnovers up to Rs 830 crore. The NSE Nifty index was at 23,650.40, down 18.25 points or 0.08%. The BSE Sensex was trading at 77,838.76, down 178.43 points or 0.23%.
