Ree Drummond's Son Jamar Arrested in Alabama on Drug and Assault Charges

Ree Drummond's 23-year-old son, Jamar Goff, was arrested in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 15 after police found him sleeping shirtless near a fountain on the University of Alabama campus and allegedly discovered methamphetamine on him. Goff, who joined the Drummond family as a foster child in 2018, allegedly told an officer he was waiting to buy "ice," a street name for meth. He resisted arrest, struck an officer, and was booked on charges including second-degree assault and drug possession, with bond set at $37,000. Court documents indicate Goff is currently homeless. Drummond, known for "The Pioneer Woman," previously wrote about fostering Goff in her book, but it remains unclear if he has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
